Have you ever wanted to make a quilt? Now is the time to learn the skills needed to do this. It is a wonderful pastime that can provide hours of enjoyment as you make items for your home, as gifts, or just as an artistic expression. We will cover the basics of piecing while making a small sampler quilt. Topics include: how to use the tools, accurate piecing, and assembly techniques. There will be homework.
Please note: If you do not have a working sewing machine at home, or the ability to borrow one for your homework, you can RENT time in the classroom to use a store machine. This is not private class time. We also have some used machines that you can rent or buy.
